I think a mouse got wedged between the wheel well and the back wall of the fridge and left a trail of guts, maybe

Preparing for the mess inside the walls

First interior skin to come off

Found a few dozen of these stuck between overalpped skins

So. Many. Rivets.

Missing insulation, hmm I wonder why that is…
